The Lower Piddle Fishery

We have a three rod “House ticket” for this very interesting fishery on the Lower Piddle, offering the chance of Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout fishing.

There is over a mile of fishing and during the spring (great fly hatches) you will have a chance of catching one of the big resident Brown Trout.

There is a good run of Salmon & Sea Trout, with Sea Trout into double figures and Salmon possibly up to a huge size, I did see, many years ago a Salmon on a beat only a few yards upstream of 34lb 12oz….

For some extra excitement, why not try fly fishing for the Pike and Perch during the winter months!

This is only for our Annexe guests that are staying a week and this allows up to three of anglers to fish this beat FREE of charge on the Thursday of your stay.

Season
